Area 51 on Google Earth / Wikimapia

If you’ve always been intrested about Area 51, you can see what’s there on Google Earth. Check out 37°15′0.03″N 115°48′57.95″W on Google Earth.

Oh, and if you’re against downloading the Google Earth application and installing it on your PC, you could look @ it online on Wikimapia. Check Area 51 out on Wikimapia.

    Does anyone use google earth images as ground image planes for use in aerial scenes. I know how to stitch them together but are there any tools or tricks to make sure that the images are at the same height, angle and such to make sure they stitch well. I know in the pro version you can get bigger images but im not going to pay for the pro version when i could stitch multiple images together…

  2. Trevon : I’m not so sure of any free tools that do a very good job either.
